Dawson City, Yukon Territory

This is where we had lunch. The best salmon & halibut we have had yet.

Beautiful downtown Dawson City. It reminds me of the old west, note the boardwalks so you don't have to walk in the dirt/mud. The last picture is the way we entered the City. All pics show the roads that pass for a highway here in the Yukon. We hope the road to Whitehorse will be better and at least have pavement rather than gravel. Great mix of old and new, many buildings on the historical list but yet some new motels with old facades. The town sits along the Yukon River very scenic with a walkway along the levee. Many places to eat and drink.

Where are all the car washes? Or do people just drive around with nasty vehicles?
