Broad Pass

This was a sign at the North Lookout of Denali, thought it was really neat to see the comparison of the equipment.

These are at Broad Pass, the highest point(2409 feet) of our drive and the divide between the drainage of rivers and streams that empty into Cook Inlet and those that empty into the Yukon River.

Just different views of Broad Pass looking east (r) and west (l). It is usually windy through the pass and that wind has continued to our campground. Even with the wind we are blessed with another nice day. Rain or at least showers are predicted for the rest of the week. It is much needed in AK. The fires are still burning and a good storm will help put them out. At least the smoke has lessened in the area.
