OMG, just when I thought we couldn't see anything else spectacular...we did. Today we did a 26 glacier cruise (Thanks Patti & Dan) that was incredible. We drove to Whittier. The only way to reach Whittier is through a 2.5 mile WWII era railroad tunnel that has been changed into a vehicle/railroad tunnel. It is called the Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel. You can only enter Whittier on the half hour and leave on the hour. The drive was through glaciated mountains and the ocean on one side and steep mountains on the other.
